Cinematic Climax
Animation powerhouses Production I.G and Studio Khara remain at the helm for the theatrical conclusion. The freshly released super teaser visual, crafted by series art director Shinji Kimura, showcases an unidentified, colossal Kaiju looming over a shattered urban landscape. This ominous image teases the aftermath of Kaiju No. 9's escape after absorbing Isao Shinomiya, signaling an escalated conflict for the Defense Force.
Voice actor Masaya Fukunishi, who stars as protagonist Kafka Hibino / Kaiju No. 8, reflected on reaching the story's final chapter in 2027—the exact year he will turn 32, matching Kafka's age at the opening of the story.
Through the first and second seasons, we have experienced the world of Kaiju No. 8 together with all of you. The series will officially conclude in 2027 with this feature film! Next year, I reach 32, the same age as Kafka. Reaching this finale at such a milestone feels like destiny. Until the very end, alongside my beloved Kafka Hibino and Kaiju No. 8, I will pour everything into creating this project.
