The publication status of Shiten Akiyama's drama series Horizon has taken a positive turn. The official X (formerly Twitter) account for Shōnengahōsha's Young King BULL magazine announced that the manga resumed serialization in the publication's 22nd issue, ending a brief hiatus that had kept readers waiting for the next chapter of the contemporary character study.
English Release and Synopsis
International readers won't have to wait indefinitely for official translations either. North American publisher Kodama Tales previously licensed the title and has scheduled the physical and digital release of the inaugural collected volume for January 2027.
Mieko Fujiwara is a burnt-out office worker nearing the end of her twenties. After observing a group of carefree teens and longing for the life she used to have, Mieko drunkenly puts on her old school uniform and heads to the park, hoping to recapture even just the tiniest bit of who she used to be. Once there, she has a chance encounter with an impossibly handsome young man that will change her life forever.

Serialization Background
The psychological drama initially launched in the pages of Young King BULL in June 2025. Following strong initial reception among seinen enthusiasts, Shōnengahōsha compiled the early chapters into the series' first standalone tankōbon volume in February 2026. Earlier in the year, creator Shiten Akiyama shared an independently translated English digital version online, though it was subsequently removed following requests from the publishing office ahead of the official overseas licensing arrangements.
