Kyoto Animation has released a brand-new special preview video for Hibike! Euphonium Final Chapter Part 2, treating fans to fresh cuts and unreleased sequences from the film. Opening with Kumiko's poignant reflection, the footage highlights emotional graduation moments and cultural festival performances that expand upon the beloved brass band drama's grand conclusion.
Alongside the video rollout, eight new scene cuts have been unveiled, offering glimpses into character dynamics involving Kumiko, her close friend Reina, transfer student Mayu, and junior member Kanade. Series director Taichi Ogawa also shared a commemorative illustration depicting Kumiko and Reina back-to-back, accompanied by a heartfelt statement reflecting on the emotional journey of bringing the sprawling adaptation to its bittersweet finale.
Soundtrack Details and Festival Recognition
In tandem with the theatrical release, official details for the original soundtrack titled Sound Will Join have emerged. Scheduled for a physical release alongside digital streaming availability, the two-disc album features film-scoring compositions by Akito Matsuda, iconic wind ensemble arrangements such as a cover of Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra's Paradise Has No Border, and the cinematic version of the ending theme.
