Kadokawa has rolled out an extensive update for the upcoming television adaptation of Hello, I Am a Witch and My Crush Wants Me to Make a Love Potion!, authored by Eiko Mutsuhana and illustrated by Vient. The production committee revealed a new promotional video, key visuals, additional voice talent, and the exact broadcast schedule, locking in an October 5 debut.
Broadcast Details and Theme Songs
The series is scheduled to kick off on October 5 across Japanese channels including AT-X, Tokyo MX, BS NTV, and RKB Mainichi Broadcasting, followed by an MBS broadcast on October 6. Digital distribution in Japan kicks off concurrently via d Anime Store, U-NEXT, and Anime Hōdai.
The newly unveiled promotional trailer treats viewers to previews of the opening and ending themes. Centimillimental performs the opening track titled Kanawanai, while Rainy. provides the ending theme Mada Uso ni wa Naranai.

The project is being brought to life at studio diomedéa, with veteran director Keizō Kusakawa at the helm. The series composition is in the capable hands of Wataru Watari, while character designs are crafted by Masakazu Ishikawa. Franchise Background
The narrative follows Rose, an isolated recluse known as the Good Witch of the Lake, whose long-standing secret affection comes to an abrupt halt when the object of her desires—the stern Royal Knight Harij—asks her to brew a love potion for someone else. Hoping to prolong his visits, she sends him on an elaborate quest for rare ingredients, only to find the stoic knight calling on her daily to ensure she eats properly.
Eiko Mutsuhana originally serialized the source material on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō platform between 2019 and 2020, with Futabasha publishing physical volumes featuring Vient's illustrations. Cross Infinite World handles the digital English publication of the light novels, while Yen Press publishes Kamada's manga adaptation under the title Hi, I'm a Witch, and My Crush Wants Me to Make a Love Potion.
