The upcoming fantasy romance adaptation Domo, Sukina Hito ni Horegusuri o Irai Sareta Majo Desu (The Witch Who Was Asked for a Love Potion by Her Crush) has officially set its broadcast schedule. The series will premiere on October 5, 2026, opening with the first episode titled The Witch and the Love Potion of Unrequited Love. Alongside the premiere date, studio Diomedéa has revealed the official key visual and a first batch of preview stills showcasing the reluctant romance.
Based on Eiko Mutsuhana's light novel series published under Futabasha's M Novels f imprint, with a manga adaptation by Kamada running in KADOKAWA's FLOS COMIC, the franchise has crossed the milestone of one million copies in circulation. The anime adaptation is spearheaded by director Keizo Kusakawa at studio Diomedéa. The voice cast features Mikako Komatsu as the secluded witch Rose and Yohei Azakami as the earnest knight Harryju, joined by Hiro Shimono as Tien and Akira Sekine as Billaura.
A Bitter Beginning
The narrative revolves around Rose, a solitary witch residing on a tranquil lake island, who receives an unexpected visit from elite knight Harryju—the man she has secretly harbored feelings for. Her quiet world shatters when he asks her to brew a love potion, unaware that the object of his affection is someone else entirely. Trapped by her own lingering affection, Rose agrees to craft the potion, treasuring whatever fleeting moments she can spend by his side while hiding her heartbreak.
The opening episode explores this poignant dynamic as Harryju arrives at Rose's secluded workshop, initiating a bittersweet bond forged entirely out of unrequited longing.
The series is scheduled to air starting October 5, 2026, across MBS, BS Nippon Television, AT-X, TOKYO MX, and other networks, with early streaming services via d Anime Store, U-NEXT, and Animehoudai.
