As the iconic mecha franchise approaches its half-century milestone, Bandai Namco has launched the first ticket lottery for GUNDAM-Con2027 SIDE MAKUHARI. Scheduled for January 9–11, 2027, at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, the convention brings together every pillar of the series under a unified fan celebration.
Stage Lineup & Exclusive Content
The convention floor will house two main presentation areas, Stage A and Stage B, operating across all three days. Highlights include dedicated events for the Gundam GWX 30th Anniversary Project and Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM ZERO, alongside creator signing sessions and national tournaments for Gunpla builders and card game players.
At the Sunrise booth, visitors can take part in illustrator signing sessions, panel talks, and art lotteries. Musical events will be led by DJ Caesar on the Gundam Song Stage, celebrating the franchise's legendary soundtracks.
Ticket Lottery Details
First-round ticket applications remain open through September 6. Admission utilizes hourly timed entry slots from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, followed by a general late-afternoon window ending at 7:30 PM. Adult tickets are priced at 5,000 yen, while admission for children costs 3,000 yen.
