The official website for Atsushi Nishigori's upcoming original omnibus anime film Grotesqqque has confirmed the musical collaborators for its multi-narrative structure. The project, spearheaded through the collaborative enterprise JOEN—backed by Aniplex, CloverWorks, Wit Studio, and Shueisha—brings together a massive roster of artists and distinctive creative visions ahead of its Japanese theatrical run.
The film is partitioned into three distinct narrative segments: "A(E)liens", "Yoroshiku★Girl", and "Nocturne: Nuit Grotesque". Director Atsushi Nishigori, celebrated for his work on The IDOLM@STER and DARLING in the FRANXX, handles screenplay composition and character design alongside directorial duties. The musical landscape features an expansive collective of 35 contributing acts across the three stories, with the metal performance project METALVERSE providing the opening theme song "Shoot Shoot Shoot", and artist Haoto performing the ending theme.
