Independent manga publisher Glacier Bay Books has officially brought its critically acclaimed catalog of alternative and indie manga to the digital comics application Sweet Shop. The announcement, made via the publisher's official BlueSky account, marks a significant expansion of digital accessibility for readers interested in avant-garde and translated comics.
Digital Catalog Additions
Readers utilizing the Sweet Shop platform can now access a diverse selection of translated indie manga series published by the company. The initial rollout includes titles such as Pandora, Dream Another Dream, Mothers, Red Riding Hood's Wolf Apprentice, and its sequel Red Riding Hood's Wolf Apprentice II: Final Testament to the Moon. Also included in the digital launch are Rabbit Game, Children of Mu-Town, and Ripples, with the publisher confirming that additional entries from its library will arrive on the app in the near future.
Print and Inventory Updates
Alongside the digital platform expansion, Glacier Bay Books provided updates on its physical print pipeline. Print runs for notable titles including Baku Chan, Box Garden Beetle, The Cursed Body, and Star Clock Liddell have either recently concluded or are nearing completion. These updates follow the publisher's absorption of Star Fruit Books' inventory and publishing line, following the passing of Star Fruit founder Matt Haasch in late 2025. Glacier Bay Books has confirmed that fulfillment of existing Star Fruit orders is underway, with excess stock slated for future retail availability through its official storefront.
