Orange Inc.’s digital localization platform emaqi has announced a substantial expansion of its library, bringing 11 exclusive manga series to English-speaking readers throughout October 2026. Sourced from prominent Japanese publishers including Shinchosha, Houbunsha, and Shonengahosha, this new wave marks the first time these titles are officially accessible in English.
The October lineup spans a wide array of genres, ranging from surreal gag comedies and gritty dystopian survival tales to heartwarming slice-of-life narratives and supernatural romance. Notable additions include Yuka Tatami’s streaming-focused drama Streaming Under My Control, Ryokuji Yoshizawa’s post-apocalyptic thriller And So, We Mostly Destroyed, and Yuji Shiozaki’s acclaimed action continuation Shin Ikki Tousen.
Among the highlighted releases, Kaduho’s classic 4-panel assassin comedy Kill Me Baby and Maiko Uchino’s gentle angling slice-of-life Slow Loop bring established fan-favorite worlds into the digital subscription pool. Additionally, mature storytelling takes center stage with Santa Uonome’s A Meal by Moonlight, following an ex-yakuza rebuilding his life beneath the shadow of the Tokyo Skytree.
Eight of the newly licensed additions—including Streaming Under My Control, And So, We Mostly Destroyed, Shin Ikki Tousen, Kill Me Baby, Song of the Thirty-Year-Olds’ Blues, A Meal by Moonlight, My Maid Can’t Keep Her Mouth Shut!, and Orc with a Child—will also be fully accessible to subscribers of the emaqi Premium monthly tier starting this October.
