WWWave Corporation's specialized animation brand Deregula has officially announced a television anime adaptation of Chizuna Nakajima's ecchi fantasy comedy manga, Elf-sensei no Toilet wa Doko desu ka? (Where Is the Elf Teacher's Toilet?). To mark the reveal, original creator Nakajima shared a pair of commemorative illustrations showcasing the main heroine.
A High-Stakes Fantasy Premise
The story follows Eruru, an elf visiting from another realm to complete her teaching practicum at an all-boys academy. The narrative spin revolves around a strict elven taboo: rules mandate that Eruru can only relieve herself in locations rich with abundant nature. What ensues is an absurd comedy centered on her desperate attempts to find suitable natural spots within a modern school environment.
Nakajima first launched the series in Kadokawa's Comic Cune magazine in January 2024. Following a hiatus starting in January 2025, the manga is slated to resume publication on September 26. Kadokawa published the second compiled volume in February 2025. Production details and additional cast announcements from Deregula will be revealed at a later date on the series' official X account and manga portal page.
