The upcoming television anime adaptation of My Sword Saint Master Is Too Cute to Live With! (Doukyo Shiteiru Kensei no Onna Shishou ga Kawaisugite Mainichi Shiawase desu) has taken a major step forward. WWWave Corporation’s Deregula animation label launched the official portal for the project, pulling back the curtain on the creative team charged with bringing Kennoji and R_ringo’s lighthearted fantasy series to television screens.

Helming the production is director Masayoshi Nishita, recognized for his work on Kakushite! Makina-san!!, working alongside series director Tokihiro Sasaki. The narrative structure is being shaped by Youhei Kashii, whose previous composition credits include Temple, while character designs are being handled by Ichirou Tanaka. Animation duties are split between studios Wolfsbane and LIGHTBOX, bringing together an experienced crew of industry veterans to adapt the romantic fantasy narrative.

The source material, written by Kennoji with illustrations by R_ringo, launched on Kadokawa's KadoComi web service via Web Comic Apanta in March 2024. The property has steadily expanded its footprint, with Seven Seas Entertainment licensing the manga for an English release through its Ghost Ship imprint. Fans can look out for further updates regarding the broadcast schedule and voice cast via the newly opened official channels.
