Toei Animation has officially unveiled the celestial Future Forms for Cure Mystic, Cure Eclair, and Cure Arcana ahead of the theatrical debut of Eiga Meitantei Precure! Fushigi na Niwa to 2-nin no Himitsu (Detective Precure! The Mysterious Garden and the Secret of the Two). Alongside the character art reveals, a brand-new 30-second preview highlights the mid-battle transformation sequences powered by the franchise's signature Miracle Lights.
Design Philosophy & New Aesthetics
The upgraded attire features golden wings and star motifs, retaining the detective charm of the heroines while emphasizing an ethereal elegance. Character designer and chief animation director Emiko Miyamoto discussed the intentional creative restraint behind the designs:
Power-up forms often lean into heavily layered, ornate, and weighty decorations. For this film, our central theme was taking that next leap forward. We deliberately chose a minimalist design by subtraction, expressing the sensation of stepping lightly into the future rather than remaining in place.
