The production team behind Detective Conan: 30-gō Satsujin Jiken (The Counterfeit Case of Ultra 30) has dropped a brand-new promotional video, the official main visual, and the theme song artist for the franchise's very first two-hour television special in ten years. Veteran singer Mai Kuraki is officially attached to perform the opening theme song titled 'Hallelujah'.
The feature-length television special is scheduled to broadcast on NTV and its regional network affiliates during their prestigious 'Kinyō Roadshow' primetime programming slot on September 25 at 9:00 p.m. Japanese Standard Time. Adding to the star power, actress Elaiza Ikeda joins the guest voice cast.
A National Threat and Counterfeit Conspiracy
In this landmark special, Conan and his allies confront a high-stakes plot threatening the entire nation centered around the distribution of counterfeit currency. The investigation kicks off with a visit to the National Printing Bureau in Nagano before Conan and Heiji trace the illicit bills all the way to Osaka.
