Kodansha has officially expanded its digital library with the addition of Daiki Yamazaki's supernatural action series Golden Phantom to the K MANGA platform as an English simulpub. International readers can now follow official chapter releases concurrently with their weekly publication in Japan.
An Amusement Park Descents Into Chaos
The story kicks off during what should be an ordinary family celebration. Protagonist Shingo Asahina visits an amusement park with his family to mark his daughter's middle school graduation, only to encounter a bloodied man fleeing violent attackers. Hoping to shield the stranger inside a Ferris wheel cabin, Shingo quickly discovers the dire scope of the situation when the wounded man delivers a chilling warning: the entire park will turn into a living nightmare within thirty minutes unless he borrows Shingo's body to intervene.
In 30 minutes, this amusement park will turn into hell on Earth.
From Chaos Game to Supernatural Thrills
Creator Daiki Yamazaki previously authored Chaos Game, which ran in Kodansha's monthly magazine Afternoon from July 2022 through June 2024 before concluding across five compiled volumes. Golden Phantom initially launched in Afternoon in February 2025, with its first print tankoubon volume debuting in Japanese stores on July 22.
