The upcoming television anime adaptation of Choujun! Chojo-senpai has officially detailed its broadcast launch, releasing the synopsis and preview screenshots for the premiere episode, titled "Cho-nouryoku Junsa-cho", scheduled to air on October 6, 2026.
Based on the manga by Shun Numa published in Weekly Shonen Jump, the series follows the chaotic exploits of Meguru Chojo, an eccentric investigator wielding telepathy, clairvoyance, and mind-reading, and Nao Ippongi, a rookie officer built like a powerhouse with an intimidating judo background. Together, this unlikely duo patrols the fictional, neon-lit entertainment district of Chinjuku.
Production Pedigree and Cast

Episode 1 Overview
The premiere introduces Nao following her sudden transfer to a remote, run-down neighbourhood box. Instead of a routine assignment, she finds herself partnered with Chojo—a psychic police officer universally disliked by the local populace.
