The final cour, subtitled The Calamity, launched on July 25 as a 10-episode conclusion to Tite Kubo's legendary narrative adaptation.
According to the official synopsis, the upcoming episode follows Uryu's drastic move to crash the central island of Wahrwelt into the Distortion, triggering mutual annihilation. However, Yhwach—having reclaimed all Schrifts and elevated the terrifying power of The Almighty—proceeds with plans to obliterate the Seireitei. Left with a shattered Bankai and a broken Zanpakuto, Ichigo sinks into deep despair as unexpected allies re-emerge.

Authored by Tite Kubo, the original BLEACH manga ran in Weekly Shonen Jump from 2001 to 2016, spanning 74 volumes and exceeding 130 million circulating copies worldwide. Following the initial TV adaptation by Studio Pierrot that ran from 2004 to 2012, the franchise triumphantly returned in 2022 to adapt the sprawling final arc.
Creator Tite Kubo has previously confirmed that this final television stretch incorporates expanded original material not seen in the original printed chapters, offering fresh narrative beats for longtime followers.
