Voice actress Ami Koshimizu has officially joined the cast of I Became a Legend After My 10 Year-Long Last Stand (Koko wa Ore ni Makasete Saki ni Ike to Ittekara 10-nen ga Tattara Densetsu ni Natteita.), stepping into the role of Lefy, the former healer from the legendary hero's party. Her character made a surprise debut in the fantasy series during its eighth episode.
Veteran Healer Joins the Party
Adapted from the light novel series written by Ezogingitune and illustrated by DeeCHA, the story follows Luck (voiced by Gakuto Kajiwara), a hero who volunteered to hold off an infinite horde of demons alone so his allies could escape. Through pure skill and endurance, Luck survived on the frontline for ten full years, emerging victorious only to discover that the world now regards him as a mythical figure.
With no other options, Luck makes the choice to hold the line against the unending demonic hordes alone, to make sure his comrades can escape with their lives. However, through a combination of fortune, skill, and ingenuity, he holds that line for ten straight years, eventually coming out on top single handedly.
Production & Broadcast Details
Directed by Hiroyuki Kanbe at studio Gekkō, the broadcast features series composition by Mitsutaka Hirota and character designs by Majiro. Musical duties are handled by composer Tomotaka Ōsumi. Theme song performances include the opening track "Soredemo Donten o Koeteyuku" by sajou no hana and the ending theme "Ari Kitari na Nichijō to Kōun na Hibi e" by rock-idol group MEISHOHIKOKAI. The series is currently streaming on Crunchyroll as it airs in Japan.
