The official website for the television anime adaptation of Firehead's Yasei no Last Boss ga Arawareta! (A Wild Last Boss Appeared!) light novel series has unveiled crucial updates for its highly anticipated second season. Alongside a striking second promotional video, the production team confirmed that the new season will premiere on October 3 at 10:30 p.m. across Tokyo MX, BS Asahi, and Kansai TV.
Expanding the fantasy ensemble, the production announced three notable voice cast additions for the upcoming arc: Atsushi Miyauchi steps into the role of Sagittarius, Akio Ootsuka takes on Leon, and Shuuhei Sakaguchi voices Mercurius. Meanwhile, the girls band chakura is officially performing the ending theme titled "Yurete Skirt," offering fans an energetic musical backdrop that gets its early preview in the latest promotional release.
Behind the scenes, Yuuya Horiuchi directs the production at animation studio WAO World, working alongside veteran series composition writer Kazuyuki Fudeyasu. Character designer Maiko Ebisawa adapts the distinct aesthetic of the original character designs, while musical composition is spearheaded by Technoboys Pulcraft Green-Fund. Following a successful twelve-episode debut season in Fall 2025 that received international simulcast streaming, the franchise continues to expand its footprint from Firehead's original 2015 web novel and Earth Star Entertainment's print runs.
