Vocalist 9Lana has secured an international milestone with her single "Rasen", which cracked the top tier of Billboard Japan's "Global Japan Songs Excl. Japan" chart at 18th place. Serving as an ending theme for BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War, the track witnessed a sudden surge across Asian markets, capturing the number one spot for Japanese-language songs in Taiwan, alongside secondary rankings in Singapore and Thailand.
Broadcast Momentum
The chart breakthrough follows a calculated narrative reveal during the broadcast of Episode 45. Studio Pierrot coupled pivotal developments in the battle for the Soul Society with an unannounced insert arrangement titled "Rasen - Acoustic Ver. -". The stripped-back emotional delivery immediately resonated with viewers, driving digital stream demand upon its release the following morning.
The momentum coincided with 9Lana's appearance during the "YouTube Music Weekend 12.0" showcase, where she delivered a live performance bridging the original cut with recent material.
Physical distribution will follow, featuring a 12-inch vinyl-sized package that compiles both the studio and acoustic recordings, as well as the textless ending sequence animated by Pierrot. 9Lana is also scheduled to hold her first international online live event, titled DOLLS, expanding her profile beyond traditional domestic streaming hubs.
