Celebrating the 30th anniversary since the monumental serialization launch of Yu-Gi-Oh! (Yu-Gi-Oh!), the very first comprehensive exhibition dedicated to creator Kazuki Takahashi, titled Kazuki Takahashi Yu-Gi-Oh! Art Works, is officially set to open on December 12, 2026, at the CREATIVE MUSEUM TOKYO. Ahead of the grand opening, organizers have kicked off ticket lottery applications for the initial December 2026 sessions, accompanied by a breathtaking commemorative animated promotional video and a first look at exclusive event merchandise.
Kazuki Takahashi established a peerless artistic legacy through his multifaceted talents as a manga creator, illustrator, designer, and game creator. The upcoming exhibition invites visitors on an immersive journey across five distinct chapters exploring his creative universe, original passion, and the narrative bedrock of Yu-Gi-Oh!. The venue will showcase over 370 original manuscripts, color illustrations from throughout the serialization and beyond, rare production materials, and never-before-seen rough sketches, offering an intimate look at the genesis of a global phenomenon.
To celebrate the ticket lottery launch, a special commemorative animation produced by the Yu-Gi-Oh! anime series production committee has been unveiled, depicting Yugi and his companions reuniting once again in Domino Town. Alongside the visual showcase, event organizers revealed new merchandise, featuring a rotating acrylic stand of Yugi Mutou and Yami Yugi, Millennium Puzzle-themed eco-bags, and mosaic jigsaw puzzles.
The exhibition will run from December 12, 2026, through February 21, 2027, at CREATIVE MUSEUM TOKYO with no plans for a nationwide tour. Lottery ticket applications for the December dates are open until September 27.
