For Episode 9, the production team shared artwork illustrated by Petos, best known for creating Interviews with Monster Girls (Demi-chan wa Kataritai) and Golden Man. The piece captured the protagonist with an alluring yet disheveled charm that quickly set community feeds abuzz. Following suit for Episode 10, Heisei Haizanhei Sumire-chan author Satomi U delivered a far more chaotic visual, sparking tongue-in-cheek bewilderment among fans regarding its provocative composition and unhinged humor.
Originally created by Nyan Nyan Factory and serialized in Kodansha's Young Magazine, Yani Neko chronicles the unapologetically lazy existence of beastfolk surviving in human society.
