WIT STUDIO is teasing a new Attack on Titan announcement for August 20, 2026, revealing a visual featuring six characters from the series. The franchise recently got a special visual by MAPPA for the studio’s 15th anniversary, along with confirming new animation for the upcoming Attack on Titan 3 game.
The teaser visual was shared with the message: “It seems that they, during ‘that period,’ will be holding a special dinner.” The visual features Eren Jeager, Mikasa Ackerman, Armin Arlert, Levi Ackerman, Erwin Smith, and Hange Zoë, with the date August 20, 2026 displayed at the bottom. No further details about the project or announcement have been revealed. The wording refers to the characters during “that period” or “that phase” and describes a “special dinner,” although what this specifically refers to will remain unknown until the announcement.
Hajime Isayama wrote and illustrated the Attack on Titan manga, which was serialized in Kodansha’s Bessatsu Shonen Magazine from September 2009 to April 2021 across 34 volumes. Its TV anime adaptation was animated by WIT Studio for the first 3 seasons, after which MAPPA took over, culminating in the THE LAST ATTACK movie which hit theaters and streaming globally.
