During Nintendo's Japanese Indie World 2026 livestream, Shueisha Games made a surprise announcement for portable console enthusiasts. Both the occult investigation mystery Urban Myth Dissolution Center and the narrative thriller Schrödinger's Call have officially launched for the Nintendo Switch 2 on the exact same day.
For players transitioning from previous hardware generations, upgrade packs are available for both titles from their respective Nintendo Switch iterations. The newly released Switch 2 version of Urban Myth Dissolution Center introduces specialized support for Joy-Con 2 mouse controls, alongside an interactive digital gallery allowing players to examine the title's detailed character and environment artwork whenever desired.
Meanwhile, the Switch 2 edition of Schrödinger's Call brings significant technical enhancements to the table. The port delivers upgraded HD visual assets and locks the gameplay experience at a smooth 60 frames per second, ensuring refined performance during critical narrative deduction sequences.
Originally, Urban Myth Dissolution Center debuted across the original Switch, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam in February 2025, followed by mobile ports for iOS and Android devices in March of that year. The intellectual property also expanded into print media when manga creator Emi Ishikawa launched a manga adaptation serialized inside Shueisha's long-running Ribon magazine in April 2025. Schrödinger's Call originally arrived on Switch and PC platforms in late May.
