The staff behind Cygames' wildly popular Uma Musume Pretty Derby franchise have revealed that the necessary United States visas for the upcoming Uma Musume: Pretty Derby – 7th Event World Tour: The Stage Los Angeles stop have not yet been approved. The global concert series is currently scheduled to take place on October 22 and October 23 at the Peacock Theater.
Production representatives noted they have spent over six months collaborating closely with legal counsel and American promoters to secure proper clearance. Organizers confirmed they are actively evaluating every available pathway to ensure the performances proceed as planned. A definitive announcement regarding whether the Los Angeles concerts will go forward is slated to drop by Monday, October 19 at 10:00 p.m. PDT.
Global Tour Milestones
This ambitious outing represents the very first time the massive multimedia franchise's elaborate live musical performances are expanding onto an international stage. The tour kicked off successfully in Tokyo this past June before setting its sights on international venues across Los Angeles, London, Seoul, and Yokohama. The Uma Musume Pretty Derby phenomenon continues to expand globally following the English mobile release and its landmark win for Best Mobile Game at The Game Awards 2025.
The affected Los Angeles dates feature an extensive lineup of voice talent, including Machico as Tokai Teio, Tomoyo Takayanagi as Oguri Cap, and Yui Ogura as Manhattan Cafe, among many others who bring the franchise's beloved horse girls to life on stage.
