Publisher D3 Publisher and Bandai Namco Entertainment have officially announced the development of the first-ever home console video game for THE IDOLM@STER SideM. Scheduled for release on both Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2, the project marks a significant milestone for the franchise, transitioning its male idol producing experience into a dedicated home console format since its original debut in 2014.

A Brand-New Narrative Arc

Described as an "idol produce & scheduling adventure," the upcoming game gathers all 16 units and 49 idols under 315 Production. The narrative builds upon the established universe of the franchise while introducing an original storyline centered on a major live performance set one year into the future under the thematic concept code "MMM."

Players assume the role of the Producer, selecting one of the 16 units as their lead unit at the start of the campaign. This selection fundamentally shifts the supporting units, storyline focus, and conversational dynamics throughout the in-game year, providing extensive narrative variation depending on which group takes center stage.
