The upcoming television anime adaptation of The Eccentric Doctor of the Moon Flower Kingdom (known in Japan as Gekkakoku Kiiden) has shared four distinct character trailers. While an official broadcast premiere date remains unconfirmed by the production committee, these promotional clips offer viewers an extended look at the central cast and their respective voice performances.
The newly published previews spotlight four principal characters driving the historical fantasy narrative. Koyo, the eccentric medical practitioner at the center of the story, is voiced by Rina Hidaka.
Prince Keiun, whose search for medical remedies sparks the central conflict, is portrayed by Takeo Otsuka.
They are joined by Singdam, voiced by Taito Ban, and Shiel, brought to life by Shoya Chiba.
Production Pedigree and Staff
Animation production for the series is anchored by Studio Elle. Directing the project is Koichiro Kuroda, working alongside Aki Mizuki, who handles series composition. Character designs are drafted by Akira Ono, while musical composition duties are managed by Shiho Terada, known for scoring upcoming high-profile projects.

The underlying manga source material, created by Tohru Himuka, has maintained a steady serialization in Kadokawa’s Asuka magazine since January 2018.
