The official production team for The Apothecary Diaries (Kusuriya no Hitorigoto) has released the non-credit opening theme video for the upcoming third season. Set to the track 'Kumo o Nuke Kazushimo e Watashi Dake' performed by the acclaimed duo Yorushika, the sequence offers fans a preliminary glimpse into the intricate visual direction awaiting the beloved imperial court mystery.
Based on the light novel series written by Natsu Hyuuga and illustrated by Shiko Touko, the franchise follows Maomao, an apothecary gifted in poisons and pharmaceuticals who finds herself solving complex mysteries within the inner palace. Following the massive success of previous broadcast blocks, the television anime continues to expand its reach. Alongside the October 2 premiere of the third season on Nippon TV's 'FRIDAY ANIME NIGHT' programming block, the franchise is also preparing for its theatrical debut with The Apothecary Diaries: The Secret Treasure of the Deposed Empress, scheduled for release on December 11.
