Voice actress and recording artist Miho Okasaki, recognized as the definitive voice of Rimuru Tempest in That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime (Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken), has unveiled a promotional crossover with the franchise's official manga adaptation. Set to the energetic track "Rapappa☆PARTNER!" from Okasaki's third mini-album MY ÉTOILE, the promotional clip features Rimuru executing a charming, upbeat routine affectionately coined the "slime dance."
The routine's distinctive hand movements, culminating in an overhead halo gesture mimicking slime contours, were choreographed by popular movement creator Bunkei—the creative force behind viral video sensations including the "PokéDance" and Chainsaw Man's "Reze Dance." Online reactions from fans embraced the juxtaposition between a formidable demon lord and lighthearted idol choreography, quickly generating social momentum across fandom circles.
Okasaki, who earned the Best Lead Voice Actor award at the 19th Seiyu Awards and portrays Hinana Ichikawa in The Idolm@ster Shiny Colors, is celebrating the fifth anniversary of her musical debut. To commemorate the career milestone, she will take the stage at LINE CUBE SHIBUYA in Tokyo on September 13 for a two-part solo concert titled "Floria," featuring distinct setlists for the afternoon ("Floria: My Heartbeat") and evening ("Floria: The Promised Sound") performances.
The multi-platform fantasy saga, created by author Fuse and serialized as a web novel before receiving a light novel iteration and an acclaimed manga serialization by Taiki Kawakami, continues to expand its reach.
