Japanese publisher Takeshobo has officially announced an upcoming wave of digital English manga releases, focusing on three distinct boys love titles created by acclaimed authors Emi Mitsuki and Unohana. The titles will roll out across major digital storefronts including Renta!, MangaPlaza, Coolmic, BookWalker, and Rakuten Kobo, expanding the accessibility of contemporary romantic drama and suspense manga for international readers.
Kicking off the release schedule on September 18 is A Man Who Never Says No (Kobamanai Otoko) by Emi Mitsuki. The narrative centers on Ritsu Shiraishi, an exceptionally skilled hotel concierge who frequently assists private detective Kurose. When Kurose investigates a politician's affair and discovers Ritsu's involvement, a mix of jealousy and romantic tension leads them together, though Ritsu's hidden secrets hint at a more complex web of events.
Continuing the creative thread on September 25, Mitsuki's spin-off series A Golden Someday (Kiniro no Itsuka) focuses on Ritsu's struggling childhood friend Yamabuki. Desperate after running into workplace and personal conflicts, Yamabuki crosses paths with a detective named Murasaki, who ropes him into an investigation centered squarely around the enigmatic concierge Ritsu Shiraishi.
Rounding out the slate in October 2026, Unohana's two-volume complete series Enveloped by the Fever of Guilt (Yamashisa no Netsu Dakareta) follows Amachi, a pharmaceutical representative working in Germany. Ahead of his return to Japan, a chance encounter at a Christmas market with a neurosurgeon named Okumura leads to a brief, passionate romance complicated by a haunting sense of familiarity.
