Square Enix's Manga Up! Global digital platform continues to widen its international catalog, bringing a diverse slate of English-language serialized manga to readers. Over the past two weeks, the service has rolled out a compelling mix of dark fantasy, supernatural action, and high-stakes comedic drama from various creators.
Among the prominent additions is Nameko Hoshitake's 25 Years in a Dungeon: A Suspicious Man Returns as a Dungeon Streamer!, which launched on September 19. The series follows protagonist Hiroshi Nagano after he spends a quarter-century trapped in uncharted dungeon depths, returning to a modern Japan obsessed with live-streamed dungeon exploration. Alongside this action-heavy title, Toriko Ono's otome game reincarnation comedy A Defeated Saint's Gonna Topple a Kingdom! debuted on September 21, shifting focus from romance to potion crafting and political rebellion alongside the dreaded Second Prince.
The release schedule also brought back classic supernatural drama with Shiwo Komeyama's Bloody Cross on September 23, offering a fresh entry point for a series previously licensed in English by Yen Press between 2013 and 2016. Other notable titles arriving in the late-September window include Chikara Kimizuka and Yen Hioka's psychological drama The After-School Bullying Trial is Now in Session!, Natsuta Futatsuno's animal-trait coming-of-age story Wolf Boy's Secret, and yosshaa! alongside Chiho Shinishi and Enya Uraki's post-apocalyptic spin-off The World is Full of Monsters, but With My Fluffy Feline Companion, I'll Be Okay.
Rounding out the September batch are Misaoji's school comedy There's a Wall of Extroverts Around Me! and Umiharu's gritty post-war thriller Blood Addict. This eclectic lineup demonstrates the platform's ongoing commitment to translating lesser-known web serialization hits alongside established genre mainstays for English-speaking audiences.
