Japanese music artist Yuki Chiba has officially released his new 17-track studio album titled ◯ (pronounced En). Highlighting the album tracklist is "Shinuka Ikiruka" ("Do or Die"), written specifically as the ending theme song for the upcoming anime adaptation of Steel Ball Run: JoJo's Bizarre Adventure.
International Collaborations and Visual Art
The album title ◯ carries layered meanings in Japanese, referencing both 縁 (interpersonal connections and fate) and 円 (circles and cycle continuity). The release features an international lineup of collaborators, including global producer Diplo on the track "ArigaThanx", alongside guest appearances by Juicy J on "Stanley Kubrick", Bb trickz, DRAM, Maleigh Zan, and producer Lil Moshpit. The jacket features single-stroke calligraphy artwork created by legendary Japanese graffiti artist TOMI-E.
Global Reach and Viral Momentum
Yuki Chiba's career momentum expanded significantly following his 2024 viral breakout single "Team Tomodachi", followed by his feature on Megan Thee Stallion's "MAMUSHI" and a performance at the MTV Video Music Awards. His early 2026 collaboration with Lil Moshpit, "Anyohaseyo", became a global social media trend, securing its place on the new album alongside the official Steel Ball Run theme.
