Kadokawa has officially detailed the contents of the upcoming September 2026 issue of Monthly Comic Gene, slated for release on September 15, 2026. The anthology magazine highlights several major manga updates, including fresh serialized debuts and center color spreads across its catalog.
The issue's cover and lead color pages are dedicated to Enma Note: Jigoku Idol Project by Shin Aki, known for Boku no Tonari ni Ankoku Hakaishin ga Imasu. and Kawaii Sekai Seifuku. The narrative kicks off in a newly established underworld talent department titled Idol Hell, centering around a unique premise blending supernatural elements with idol auditions.
In addition to the new launch, the issue features center color presentations for popular titles such as Inochi no Tabekata, adapted by Yutoto from Ao Jumonji's light novel and artist Eve's conceptual project, alongside Yuurin-chan no Chuuken-kun by Myato Gaho and Cell of Empireo.
