Kodansha's official digital platform K MANGA has announced the upcoming serialization of the dark fantasy manga Sen Sen Senki, written by A-10 and illustrated by Ryūga Kawasaki. The series is scheduled to debut on the service on October 13, bringing the newly launched title to international readers.
The creative team originally launched the manga within the pages of Kodansha's flagship publication Weekly Shōnen Magazine on June 10. Following its initial magazine run, the publisher released the first compiled book volume physically and digitally on September 16, establishing the foundation for its wider digital rollout.
Plot and Setting
Set within a volatile era defined by fractured nations and perpetual conflict, the narrative follows a young boy named Raika. After a ruthless warlord conquers and devastates his homeland, Raika is captured and taken prisoner. Following a daring escape, he crosses paths with a mysterious sage, prompting him to dedicate his life to mastering the same path in order to protect others from the warlord's ongoing tyranny.
