However, as production moved forward, the creative team decided that audiences deserved to experience the sweeping audiovisual scope of the adaptation on cinematic screens first. Animation production is handled by studio Qzil.la, with a creative roster led by director Kenichi Kutsuna, screenwriter Takuya Satou, and character designer Takahiro Kishida.
