Manga creator Sasami Kamone announced that they will soon launch a manga adaptation of Keishi Ayasato's Seijo Seisen -Taizai Yūsha to Omoide no Majo- light novel series. The serialization is scheduled to debut on the "Suiyōbi wa Mattari Dash X Comic" page of the Nico Nico Seiga platform.
The dark fantasy premise follows a teenager named Tōma Kurashiki, who commits a grim suicide before being reincarnated into a fantastical realm as its summoned hero. Rejecting the girl who summoned him, Misha, he takes the hand of Adel Eustophoria—a saintess hunted as a witch—and flees alongside her. Tōma soon discovers that thirteen saintesses are locked in a brutal battle to the death known as the "Saintess Holy War," where the last surviving participant claims ultimate dominion. Unbeknownst to the other contenders, Tōma harbors a unique blessing granted by the gods that could completely shatter the rules of the conflict.
The original light novel series was launched by author Keishi Ayasato in June 2025 under Shueisha's Dash X Bunko imprint, featuring striking illustrations by Genyaky. The second volume hit store shelves in February, expanding Ayasato's impressive bibliography of dark fantasy and speculative fiction works, which also includes Torture Princess - Fremd Torturchen and The Bride of Demise.
