The production team behind the upcoming television adaptation of Ryō Ariyama's Romelia War Chronicle: Even After Defeating the Demon King, Humanity Still Seems Doomed, So I Formed a Military Force light novel series has dropped a comprehensive new promotional video. Scheduled for an October 3 premiere, the forthcoming project comes from animation studio Atra and is slated to run for two continuous quarters, giving the military fantasy adaptation plenty of room to breathe.
Musical Lineup and Broadcast Details
The newly released trailer treats listeners to early snippets of the opening theme song "Akatsuki ni Naru" performed by Chogakusei, as well as the ending theme "Nightfall feat. Maika Loubté" composed by Kohta Yamamoto. Japanese streaming platforms such as U-NEXT, Anime Times, and Netflix will secure the earliest broadcasts on October 3 at 9:00 p.m., with traditional television broadcasts on Tokyo MX, BS11, and Sun TV following on October 5. International audiences will be able to watch the series through Crunchyroll as it airs.
Production Pedigree and Cast Ensemble
Directing duties fall to Hiroshi Shirai, recognized for his work on Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, working alongside assistant director Takahiro Hirata. Series composition is handled by Aya Satsuki, while character designs are shared by Yoshiko Saitō and Yūta Ōtaka. The massive vocal ensemble features Yuna Nemoto leading the charge as the tactical protagonist Romelia von Graham, accompanied by Jin Ogasawara as Al, Tomohiro Ōno as Ray, and an expansive roster of supporting talent.
Originally launched as a web novel on Shōsetsuka ni Narō back in 2019 before migrating to Shogakukan's Gagaga Bunko imprint, the source material surpassed 550,000 circulating copies prior to concluding its sixth volume. An accompanying manga adaptation illustrated by Ryō Kamito continues to be published via Mag Garden's Mag Comi platform, with English editions licensed by Seven Seas.
