The official website for the television anime adaptation of Ryou Ariyama's Romelia Senki (Romelia War Chronicle) action fantasy light novel has revealed new additions to its supporting cast. Alongside the voice actor announcements, production committees confirmed that the series will broadcast for two consecutive cours on Tokyo MX, BS11, Sun TV, and KBS Kyoto starting October 5. Early streaming will premiere domestically via Anime Times, U-NEXT, and Netflix.
The newly announced supporting cast members feature:
- Kairo: Voiced by Mika Kanda
- Zaria: Voiced by Kenji Hamada
- Farmaine: Voiced by Youji Ueda
The production is being helmed by director Kouji Saitou at animation studio Atra. Series composition and scriptwriting are managed by Aya Satsuki, while character designs are crafted by Yoshiko Saitou and Yuuta Ootaka. Musical scoring is handled by composer KOHTA YAMAMOTO, known for his work across major fantasy and thriller productions.
Ryou Ariyama initially launched the source web novel on the Shousetsuka ni Narou platform in August 2019. Shogakukan later picked up the title for physical publication under their Gagaga Books imprint with illustrations by Kodama. A manga adaptation illustrated by Ryou Kamito launched on the Manga Doa app, with English localization licensed by Seven Seas Entertainment.
