Following the emotional conclusion of Re:Zero Starting Life in Another World Season 4, studio WHITE FOX has released a poignant new visual and heartfelt reflections from the lead voice cast. Titled around a long-awaited reunion, the artwork highlights Rem locking gaze with protagonist Natsuki Subaru, underscored by the poignant tagline, “――Rem, I've missed you.”
Based on Tappei Nagatsuki’s celebrated light novel series published under MF Bunko J, the dark fantasy epic follows Subaru Natsuki, an ordinary teenager abruptly summoned to a fantastical realm. Armed only with “Return by Death,” a curse-like ability that resets time upon his demise, Subaru navigates ruthless political intrigues and devastating personal losses. Under the direction of Masahiro Shinohara, the fourth season adapts the harrowing trials of the Pleiades Watchtower arc.
Cast Reflections
Marking the finale, voice actor Yusuke Kobayashi (Natsuki Subaru) shared his thoughts on the arduous journey through the watchtower. “Thank you for watching until the very end! The Pleiades Watchtower was the destination in our search to reclaim what was lost. What we recovered, and conversely, what we lost. It may not be an ending wrapped in unadulterated joy, but let me say just this: Welcome home. I've missed you,” Kobayashi expressed.
Inori Minase, the voice behind the beloved maid Rem, also shared her profound relief and joy over her character's awakening. “We finally met. To everyone who waited so long&mdashand of course, I was one of them. Knowing that Rem awaited at the end of a future forged through countless struggles without abandoning hope fills my heart to the brim,” Minase stated.
