The ambitious Pokémon feat. Hatsune Miku Project Voltage High ↑ has expanded its musical catalog with two brand-new music videos crafted by renowned producer ryo(supercell). Written, composed, and arranged entirely by ryo, these special releases mark a celebratory milestone leading up to the franchise's monumental 30th anniversary.
The first video, titled “Legends,” premiered on October 22nd. It showcases Miku inside a recording studio collaborating alongside prominent Pokémon partners Toxtricity and Rillaboom. Shortly after, the project released the second video, “1996,” which pays homage to the original generation of pocket monsters that debuted on the Game Boy nearly three decades ago.
Following its initial launch in August 2023, Project VOLTAGE has brought together an impressive roster of Vocaloid producers—including Deco*27, Inaba Cloud, and MitchieM—to produce tracks representing all eighteen Pokémon types. The initiative expanded into Project Voltage High↑ with fresh compositions and illustrations, culminating in its first live concert at LaLa Arena Tokyo Bay in March 2026.
Fans looking to follow the continued rollout of songs and artwork can keep track of official updates through the official Pokémon X/Twitter account as the celebrations continue.
