During the recent "Persona 4 Revival TV" live stream, Atlus unveiled significant production details for Persona 4 Revival, its upcoming full-scale remake of the classic 2008 PlayStation 2 role-playing game. Acclaimed voice actor Ryōtarō Okiayu has officially been cast as Ryōtarō Dōjima, stepping into the role previously held by the late veteran actor Unshō Ishizuka, who passed away in 2018.
New Features and Production Details
Alongside the voice cast announcement, Atlus showcased a new feature titled "location episodes," promising expanded narrative interactions throughout Inaba. World-renowned animation studio MAPPA is producing all animated cutscenes for the title, bringing its trademark cinematic flair to the beloved Murder Mystery RPG.
Persona 4 Revival is scheduled to launch on February 18 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox PC (including Xbox Game Pass), and PC via Steam, followed by a Nintendo Switch 2 release on May 20. Following in the footsteps of Persona 3 Reload, the title will also feature an entirely updated English voice cast.
