The upcoming television anime adaptation of Umikaze Minamino's Nia Liston: The Merciless Maiden light novel series has expanded its roster. The production team unveiled a brand-new situation visual alongside two key additions to the voice cast, ramping up anticipation ahead of its autumn debut.
Tomoyo Takayanagi joins the cast as Neil Liston, the protagonist's brother, while Yūki Urushiyama steps into the role of Lynette Blanc, Neil's dedicated maid and guard. These characters bring additional depth to the reincarnation fantasy, which follows a legendary undefeated hero reborn into the frail body of a sickly young girl, determined to return to the battlefield.
Production Pedigree and Broadcast Details
Directed by Motoki Nakanishi at KONAMI animation, the series is slated for a two-consecutive-cours run starting October 6 on Tokyo MX, BS NTV, and MBS. Gigaemon Ichikawa handles series composition, with character designs by Yūki Itō and Kana Tosaoka, and an opening theme performance by VTuber Tsunomaki Watame.
