The upcoming action fantasy TV anime adaptation of Nia Liston: The Merciless Maiden has expanded its voice roster, adding four new cast members ahead of its scheduled October 6, 2026 premiere. The series is confirmed for a consecutive two-cour broadcast in Japan, with HIDIVE handling international streaming for select regions.
Joining the extensive lineup are Saeko Kamijo as Essera Blanket, Hitomi Ueda as Raffine Silver, Azusa Tadokoro as Riculvitar Silver, and Ayaka Ohashi as Lilimi Silver. They round out an ensemble that already features Honoka Inoue in the leading role as Nia Liston, alongside veteran performers such as Junichi Suwabe, Yoko Hikasa, and Satoshi Hino.
Production and Background
Animation production is helmed by KONAMI animation. Motoko Nakanishi is directing the series, supported by assistant director Haruta Segi, series composer Gigaemon Ichikawa, and character designers Yuki Ito and Kana Tosaoka.
The project originates from Umikaze Minamino's light novel series, which launched under Hobby Japan’s HJ Bunko label in September 2022 following a successful run on Shosetsuka ni Naro. J-Novel Club publishes the light novel in English, chronicling the tale of an undefeated hero reborn into the frail body of a young girl with an unyielding appetite for battle.
