The workplace romantic comedy manga My Tiny Senpai (Uchi no Kaisha no Chiisai Sempai no Hanashi) is officially approaching its final chapter. Creator Saisou confirmed in a social media reply to a fan that the series will conclude with the release of its 14th compiled book volume next April, bringing the heartwarming office romance to a definitive close.
From Web Manga to Global Hit
Saisou originally launched the series on Takeshobo's Storia Dash web manga service back in April 2020. Since its inception, the charming dynamic between the petite, affectionate Katase and her easygoing junior Shinozaki captured a dedicated readership. Takeshobo published the 13th compiled book volume on September 16, setting the stage for the final volume's arrival next year.
For international readers, J-Novel Club handles the English publication of the manga, introducing the endearing office dynamic to a wider audience. The publisher outlines the premise:
At his job, Shinozaki has this senpai, Katase. She's short and cute, and she absolutely loves to praise her dear kohai! Shinozaki's day is chock-full of her lighthearted teasing, and he's totally okay with it! But when it comes to expressing their feelings for each other, neither senpai nor kohai seems able to work up the courage. With the office peanut gallery cheering them on, including manager Akina and coworker Hayakawa, will this adorable pair ever get together?!
Adaptations and Legacy
The franchise's immense popularity led to several major multimedia adaptations over the years. A television anime adaptation produced by Project No. 9 premiered in July 2023, bringing the colorful office banter to life with vibrant animation. Crunchyroll streamed the series worldwide as it aired in Japan, alongside an English dub for western fans. More recently, the property expanded further with a live-action series adaptation that debuted in January 2025.
With the manga reaching its final chapter next April, fans of the series have plenty of time to revisit Shinozaki and Katase's office antics before the final volume hits shelves.
