The upcoming television anime adaptation of Jura's provocative romance manga My Girlfriend's Friend (Kanojo no Tomodachi) will officially premiere on October 4. Alongside the broadcast date, the production revealed a new uncensored promotional video, additional voice talent, and theme song artists.
The animated adaptation is helmed by director Takashi Andō at studio Quad, with production overseen by WWWave Corporation's dedicated adult romance imprint, Deregula. The series script and supervision are handled by Gokō Shiraki, while Ryūji Iwata serves as character designer and chief animation director alongside Akira Koshiishi and Konatsu Kumagai.

Joining the cast are Riho Sugiyama as Miyuki and Ryōka Yuzuki as Kaori's mother, supporting the core trio of Ryūga Nagaike (Takeru), Sayahana Hanemurasaki (Kaori), and Miki Hase (Tomoko). The musical lineup features the opening theme Gingira performed by Airots, with Ceui delivering the ending theme False Love.
The broadcast schedule includes television airings on Tokyo MX and BS11, while the unedited "Complete Deregula" cut will stream exclusively on AnimeFesta beginning October 5.
