Arc System Works, PlayStation Studios, and Marvel Games have officially unleashed a brand-new gameplay trailer for their 4v4 tag team fighting game, Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls. The fresh footage confirms that Phoenix Cyclops is inbound as the very first downloadable character included in the game's Year 1 Character & Stage Pass, scheduled to arrive on November 2.
Bringing the iconic mutant leader to life, Ray Chase returns to voice Phoenix Cyclops, carrying over his acclaimed vocal performance from the X-Men '97 animated series. The title originally launched on August 6 for PlayStation 5, PC via Steam, and the Epic Games Store, offering a massive roster of twenty combatants ranging from Spider-Man and Wolverine to Doctor Doom and Ghost Rider.
Production & Special Features
Beyond standard competitive matches, the fighter features a dedicated Episode Mode that unfolds narrative sequences in a dynamic motion comic format, penned with assistance from a veteran Marvel Comics writer. Furthermore, the opening cinematic was directed by Daisuke Suzuki at animation studio SANZIGEN, set to the heavy-hitting theme song "Stronger as One" performed by Keiko Terada of SHOW-YA and mayu of NEMOPHILA.
