TV Asahi has announced exciting guest cast additions for the upcoming annual Doraemon Birthday Special, airing on September 6 at 6:56 p.m. JST. Prominent actor Kotaro Koizumi is set to star as Howard Richie, an affluent 22nd-century billionaire whose precious gem, "The Smile of Dorayaki," becomes the center of an unexpected heist.
In the narrative, Richie places a hefty bounty on the titular robot cat after security footage mistakenly implicates him in the theft of the billion-yen jewel. Joining Koizumi is actor Dōri Sakurada, who will voice Konrobo, a diligent fox robot officer tasked with hunting down the wanted feline protagonist.
