The revenge fantasy television anime Kizudarake Seijo yori Houfuku wo Komete Season 2 has revealed its primary broadcast schedule alongside details for its new ending theme. The upcoming sequel, produced under the joint Animation ID initiative between IMAGICA Infos and Dai Nippon Printing (DNP), is slated to begin airing across Japanese television networks in October 2026.
Ending Theme Details
Three-piece all-female guitar-rock outfit Tsuki Ou Kanata will perform the season's ending theme song, titled “Nagi no Soko” (Bottom of the Calm). Written and composed by vocalist/guitarist Shiho, the ballad channels protagonist Rua’s internal conflicts, isolation, and traumatic past into a resonant melodic piece designed to reflect her arduous road to vengeance.
Hailing from Kitakyushu and currently based in Tokyo, Tsuki Ou Kanata draws inspiration from seminal 2000s Japanese indie rock bands such as Chatmonchy, developing an energetic yet wistful sound that has earned them notable festival appearances at COMING KOBE and MURO FESTIVAL.
Narrative Stakes and Release Timeline
Originating from the webtoon penned by Aminohada with artwork by SORAJIMA, the story follows Rua, a girl ostracized as a “defective saintess” and betrayed by her closest confidante, Arian. Harnessing her unique gift to redirect inflicted wounds onto others, Rua partners with the second prince, Sven, to orchestrate retribution against those who tormented her. Season 2 shifts the central confrontation to the kingdom's grand Birth Festival, where Rua is crowned the “Rose Princess” and unearths long-buried secrets surrounding her family’s demise.
The physical manga adaptation published by Ichijinsha will release its fourth compiled volume on October 16. Television broadcasts for the anime’s second season commence according to the following schedule:
- tvk (Television Kanagawa): Thursdays at 24:00 JST, beginning October 1, 2026
- CBC TV: Fridays at 26:59 JST, beginning October 2, 2026
Additional global streaming destinations and full voice cast confirmations will be announced on the project’s official portal at animationid.com/kizudarakeseijo2.
