Fans of classic shonen battle series have reason to celebrate as the Katekyo Hitman Reborn! anime project rolls out high-definition, creditless footage from its iconic broadcast run. As part of the ongoing 20th-anniversary milestone celebrations, official channels have dropped the creditless version of the series' tenth ending theme sequence, highlighting the track Sakura Rock performed by CHERRYBLOSSOM.
This particular ending sequence originally entertained audiences during episodes 127 through 139 of the 203-episode run produced by Studio Artland. While these sequences were previously tucked away on legacy home video releases, the current September-long initiative brings them to digital platforms for the first time.
The anniversary project, aptly named REBORN! MUSIC MONTH, features daily digital drops of classic opening and ending animations on YouTube, alongside a comprehensive 25-song streaming playlist capturing the nostalgic soundscape of Akira Amano's beloved mafia-comedy universe.
Originally serialized in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump from May 2004 to November 2012 across 42 collected volumes, Akira Amano's creation remains a cornerstone of 2000s anime culture. The television adaptation, which aired from October 2006 to September 2010, follows the misadventures of Tsunayoshi Sawada after a dapper infant hitman named Reborn arrives to groom him for mafia succession.
