The spiritual academy fantasy series Kamusama Gakkou no Ochikobore (The Dropout of God School) is officially making the leap to television, as announced by Hakusensha and Sekaisha. Based on the light novels and manga written by Natsu Hyuuga—celebrated for her work on The Apothecary Diaries—and illustrated by Modomu Akagawara, the supernatural drama has captured readers in the pages of Hana to Yume.
The narrative follows Nagi Hibiya, an ordinary student attending a prestigious academy for divine beings despite possessing no spiritual power of her own. Alongside her are Tsukuyomi, an exceptionally high-ranking deity, and Tota Eto, a classmate whose family manages a massive shrine. The newly revealed teaser visual frames the trio against a backdrop of a towering torii gate and autumn-tinted stone steps, setting an atmospheric stage for their impending supernatural journey.
