The official English account for the KAGURABACHI anime has launched a special giveaway celebrating protagonist Chihiro Rokuhira’s birthday on August 11. The campaign will award a Chihiro character visual postcard, not available for sale, to 10 winners. The postcard features Chihiro alongside his newly revealed anime character visual. To enter, fans must follow the official KAGURABACHI anime English X account and repost the campaign announcement. Entries will remain open until August 21, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. JST.
KAGURABACHI has been serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump since September 2023. Eleven volumes have been released as of May 1, 2026, and the manga has already surpassed 4 million copies in circulation. The manga won the Next Manga Award 2024 in the Print Category. VIZ Media licensed the manga in English. The story follows the young Chihiro, who was trained by his father to become a swordsmith. After his father is murdered, Chihiro sets on a path of revenge to avenge him with yakuza and sorcerers standing against him.
The anime adaptation by studio Cypic is set to premiere in April 2027. Fans recently had the chance to watch the first 20 minutes during Anime Expo 2026.
